Tasmazia & The Village of Lower Crackpot Review
In January of 2019 I travelled to Tasmania and visited Tasmazia, a large maze complex only a 15 minute drive from Sheffield the town of murals.
Entry into Tasmazia was $27.50 for an adult with free onsite parking available, cameras and phones are allowed within the complex for taking photos or videos.
If you have little ones and are planning on taking a pram, Tasmazia is pram friendly with only a few restricted areas in The Great Maze, most of the surfaces are gravel however there is a mix of gravel, asphalt, and brick.
Tasmazia & The Village of Lower Crackpot has a series of mazes that you can complete.
• The Great Maze
• Hampton Court Maze
• Confusion Maze
• The Balance Maze
• Hexagonal Maze
• The Yellow Brick Road Maze
• Irish Maze
• Cage Maze
• Embassy Gardens
• The Village of Lower Crackpot
A map of the different mazes can be seen below:
Throughout your maze adventure you will be given a list of different structures or sculptures to find, some of these include Jack and Jills Hill, Hobbit's Hole, Trump's Mexican Border Wall, and Rapunzel's Tower.
Read the signs found throughout the maze to discover funny and interesting quotes.
As you start your journey to exploring Tasmazia you will find yourself starting inside of The Great Maze which practically contains all of the other mazes and attractions inside of it, navigating your way through The Great Maze to find the other attractions.
As you exit The Great Maze you will find yourself headed towards The Village of Lower Crackpot where you can admire the many miniature buildings on display before you continue on to completing additional mazes, you will find you can certainly kill several hours here as there is so much to explore.
After you complete your maze adventure you can grab a bite to eat in the cafe next door which is part of the Tasmazia complex, it seems to be very busy during peak lunch times however if you time it so you finish a little later you can miss the peak times and go when it's a little bit quieter for a slightly later lunch.
The food served by the Tasmazia cafe was very good and the service was fantastic, with a range of different options on their menu, indoor seating as well as outdoor seating is available.
Tasmazia is a fantastic attraction to visit, perfect for kids and adults alike. If you are a tourist this is definitely a unique location to check out, the pricing is a bit moderate however for such a unique location it's definitely worth checking out.
