Mole Creek Tasmania Tourist Information Review
Mole Creek is a small town 75 km away from Launceston, which equates to around a 55 minute drive, the small town consists of a petrol station, hotel and bar, general store, and post office, and there is no shortage of countryside views.
Mole Creek contains a small selection of restaurants and cafes that you can access within a 5-10 minute drive, nearby towns also offer a wide variety of restaurants and cafes as well within a 30 minute drive away.
If you need more of a selection though, a short drive to Deloraine or Sheffield will provide you with more options for shopping and restaurants.

Mole Creek contains a number of attractions including the Mole Creek caves, which is a very popular attraction, Mole Creek is also known for it's honey production contributing to 35% of Tasmania's honey production.
Trowunna wildlife park is a great attraction for kids where you can go to see different wildlife native to Tasmania.
If you are into hiking and walking trails there are plenty of places to go, be sure to be well prepared though, take plenty of water, wear decent shoes for hiking, take a packed lunch and wear clothes suitable for hiking.

• Mount Roland
• Gog Range Regional Reserve
Conquering Mount Roland, located in Sheffield, can be done in roughly 6 hours and is only a short drive away from Mole Creek which can provide a good day trip out, the final stretch to the summit will include scrambling.
